SM Entertainment announces a piece of good news for this 2020 as Red Velvet's Wendy is finally set to return to the limelight!
Last year, Red Velvet's Wendy was involved in an accident that broke many fans' hearts. The accident caused by the shows negligence to secure their stage props resulted in Wendy's accident.
Wendy fractured her right hip, cheek, and her wrist. Since the accident happened, the head director of the SBS Entertainment division and the production staff also worked with the SBS representatives to provide the best health care and proper treatments for Wendy.
SBS also stated that they would make sure that they will take strict action to ensure nothing like this accident would happen in the future. Due to Wendy's injuries, she could not participate in the remaining schedule of Red Velvet's activities. She was said to be focusing on her recovery for an indefinite amount of time.
After releasing her teaser image for BoA's 20th Anniversary cover projected by the SM Entertainment, Red Velvet's Wendy made social media and her fans alive again. The fans made multiple trending hashtags for the said singer.
Does this mean that Wendy is going back to the performing?
On the morning of August 19, SM Entertainment answered all of the questions. The company reported to different media outlets, including the TV Daily, happily announcing that Wendy has fully recovered and will be back to participating in Red Velvet's future activities.
Since the accident last December 2019, Wendy has been focusing on her recovery and regaining strength. Also reported, the girls of Red Velvet stopped in to take care of Wendy and her parents. Her parents also came with her and planned to live with her in Korea.
In other news, Wendy proves she is beautiful inside and out as she donates 100 million won or roughly about $84,416 for the Coronavirus victims last February.
