Kim Hye Yoon and the team who produced the hit series "SKY Castle" are officially reuniting in a new drama!
On August 24, it was announced that Kim Hye Yoon would be starring in the upcoming series "Snowdrop" (working title). Hye Yoon soared to fame after her performance in JTBC's "SKY Castle."
While little information on the highly-anticipated drama has been revealed so far, "Snowdrop" will be written and directed by director Jo Hyun Tak and screenwriter Yoo Hyun Mi, the same team who worked extensively on "SKY Castle." (via Soompi)
"Snowdrop" will be starring BLACKPINK's Jisoo, who will take on her first leading role in the upcoming series. Both parts held by Kim Hye Yoon and Jisoo were identified as leads.

Kim Hye-Yoon officially debuted as an actress with KBS2 TV Novel's Samsaengi in 2013 as a supporting character. Kim Hye-Yoon turned her concentration on research after securing a groundbreaking appearance in OCN's crime thriller Bad Guys in 2014 and only produced brief cameo for few projects.
In 2015, she received the full scholarship from Konkuk University, one of Korea's top universities. After completing college (graduation ceremony in February 2019), Kim started to audition for more substantial roles, such as the satire series SKY Castle by JTBC.
Alongside her distinctive character as an ambitious and uninviting yet ladylike high schooler, the show's considerable success propelled her to superstar status. It earned her the Best New Actress award at the 55th Baeksang Arts Awards.
In 2019, Kim Hye-Yoon starred as the main female lead in MBC's school fantasy Extraordinary You, centered on the popular Daum webtoon July Found by Chance. The young actress earned further appreciation, having won the MBC Drama Awards for both Best New Actress and Excellence Award as an actress.
Meanwhile, Kim Hye-Yoon has taken on her first major role in the 2020 movie production, 'The Girl Riding a Bulldozer.'
