Jiyoon is back with a new single "Bad" from her solo album "Fire" featuring R&B singer KIMMUSEUM.
On August 24, former 4Minute member Jiyoon finally reveals her comeback single "Bad." The music video for "Bad" tells a story of a woman with a bold and unpredictable nature, the soloist portraying a woman who is both a femme fatal and a runaway bride. The club-like beat is complemented by the music video's choreography, which leans heavily on the stylized "voguing" dance trend of the 90s.
Before revealing the official music video, Jiyoon has released various photo teasers for her single. It follows the theme of a woman who was scorned in love and has learned to fight back.
On August 21, the former 4Minute member released a teaser photo with her standing while wearing sunglasses and a veil, and the signature red color background.
Meanwhile, Jiyoon has been preparing for her comeback for months as the former 4Minute member announced that she would debut a solo career on June 30. The idol turned solo artist's upcoming project will showcase her powerful vocals and eye-catching solo performance. The forthcoming album will also be a callback to her 4Minute days.
Previously, Jiyoon announced her comeback to the music industry with her first single album, "Fire." The comeback features a schedule and the plans to release teaser images, MV teasers, and wrapping up with the official music video that will drop on August 24.
Following the announcement, Jiyoon released a couple of concept photos for "Anger of Love" in contrast to "Birth of Love," which is also part of the upcoming album "Fire." The teaser photos look amazing and with the signature red backdrop, resembling ferocity.
Jiyoon is a singer, rapper, songwriter, actress, and she debuted on the girl group 4Minute in 2009 with their single "Hot Issue." Jiyoon and bandmate Gayoon formed a subgroup called 2Yoon in 2013 and release their EP "Harvest Moon" with the single "24/7."
