The Korean Business Research Institute now reveals the August brand reputation rankings for idol groups!
Per Soompi, the Korean Business Institute's latest analysis includes BTS, BLACKPINK, Red Velvet, (G)I-DLE, and TWICE as the flag bearers for this month among the dozens of Kpop idol groups who are spreading their artistry through music.
The determination of the rankings of the idol groups includes the analysis of the media coverage, consumer participation, interaction, and community awareness indexes of 100 idol groups using the big data collected from June 21 to August 21.
BTS, who recently made history with their full-English track "Dynamite," rank one for this month's brand reputation ranking for idol groups. The septet garnered 14,900,242 for August, marking a 35.78 percent increase from their score in July.
"Dynamite," "MV," and "Disco," are among the high-ranking phrases in BTS' keyword analysis, while "comfort," and "release," are the group's high-ranking related terms. BTS' positivity-negativity study reveals a score of 83.79 percent positive reactions.
Landing on the second spot is the girl-group comprising the fashion icons, Jisoo, Rose, Liza, and Jennie,- BLACKPINK. The quartet maintained their position from last month and scored a brand reputation index of 8,472,487.
The news about BLACKPINK's collaboration with Selena Gomez recently broke the internet and made the BLINKs go gaga with the nearing August 28, which is the release date for the talk of the town new track "Ice Cream."
Moreover, Red Velvet, who is third last month, remains on its position with the total brand reputation index of 3,886,185 for August. Meanwhile, (G)I-DLE and TWICE hailed as the fourth and fifth places, respectively.
