When NCT's Jaehyun started singing and recording a quick clip of "Honesty" from Pink Sweat$ during a fansign video conference event, the internet went wild.
Jaehyun is considered to be the Pink Sweat$'s biggest fan and frequently suggest his tracks during his live streams. That was over a month ago – but on August 20th, another NCT member, Doyoung, forwarded him a brief snippet covering the same track, via Dear U. Bubble.
One fan, @jaehyunzmilk on Twitter, took it upon herself to send the covers to Pink Sweat$ himself and received a reply from the world-famous pop star. On August 23rd, she uploaded the video of Doyoung's cover on her Instagram, and casually asked him for a collaboration, to which he replied that he was "down" for it! (via Koreaboo)
She also sent Jaehyun's footage, subsequently performing "Honesty," and the star headed up, asking her, in specific, for Jaehyun's Instagram perhaps because Doyoung himself does not have one yet. Pink Sweat$ copied and pasted on his Instagram stories the covers on the day itself, and everybody assumed it had stopped there.
That being said, Pink Sweat$ took to his Twitter page account on the early hours of August 24th to share an incredibly cute edit of Jaehyun and Doyoung's "Honesty" covers and all related tags and hashtags.
Supporters were utterly delighted to see the original artist accept their idols themselves. Even after NCT 127, Pink Sweat$ just started following each other's accounts on Twitter.
Meanwhile, if you have yet to hear how sensuous their vocals will be together, take a look below for Jaehyun's cover of "I Like Me Better," which has pummeled 31 million views lately.
