Yoo In Na makes another thoughtful donation to help children with hearing loss.

On September 3, the Community Welfare Organization Cochlea of Love has released a statement that Yoo In Na donated the fees for a 2-year old child admitted to the Seoul National University Bundang Hospital for cochlear implant surgery and speech rehabilitation treatment.

The organization carries out programs to educate the public, giving them the knowledge to know more regarding the Cochlea of Love. The organization provides cochlear implant surgery and some hearing aids for the children experiencing hearing loss, and the organization supports them as they slowly adjust to society.

The 2-year old child had been initially diagnosed with hearing impairment since its newborn hearing test, and the child had been using a hearing aid. However, because of some sudden sensorineural hearing loss, the child will have to undergo the said cochlear implant surgery.

The child's mother shared that she felt a lot of pressure with regards to the possibilities the surgery may go through, and she is facing financial difficulties as well due to the pandemic where most of the employees are kicked out from the company they are working.

This is the fifth time that Yoo In Na made a donation and has helped a child undergo free cochlear implants surgery. From her previous contributions, she benefited four children and is now in speech rehabilitation therapy, and Yoo In Na plans to help eight more children with the same circumstances.

In the previous year, Yoo In Na donated a total of 30 million won, which approximately has the amount of $25,200 to the Cochlea of Love, and since then, she contributed more. She gave around 130 million, roughly $109,100 in total from last year until the present. (Via Soompi)
