SF9’s comeback is just around the corner!
The boy group just shared two jacket posters for their upcoming album ahead of their official comeback. The posters were titled ‘Golden Chaser’ and ‘Black Chaser’.
SF9 will be returning with their eighth mini-album ‘9loryUS’ on July 6, 2020, at 6 p.m. KST.
According to the boys, the title track is called ‘Summer Breeze’ in English while the Korean title translates to “The scent of summer makes me dance.”
Their comeback was officially confirmed on June 16 by FNC Entertainment through Xportsnews.
Prior to the official announcement, fans have been speculating for a comeback after noticing visible changes in SF9’s appearance during some interactions with their fans such as live broadcasts or posts on social networks.
The boys were seen with new hair cuts and hair color, the usual hints of an idol’s impending comeback.
SF9’s last comeback was in January this year with their first studio album ‘First Collection’. They promoted the album’s title track ‘Good Guy’, which won them their first-ever music show trophy since their debut back in 2016.
Their first music show win was on Mnet’s ‘M Countdown’ on January 16, 2020. It had been an emotional episode as SF9 thanked the people behind their win.
As Soompi reported, SF9’s leader Youngbin first thanked FNC’s founder Han Sung Ho and other FNC staff, his fellow members, and their family members.
“And to our FANTASY, who have been more anxious and waiting for our first win than even we have been, thank you so much,” he continued. “This win has happened because of our FANTASY and we’ll remember it for the rest of our lives. We’ll work hard. Thank you so much FANTASY for giving us this win, we love you!”
Inseong added, “This is an award given to us by many people who love us! We’re going to fly higher in 2020! Thank you!”
