Rookie Girl Group FANATICS was conducting a live video stream on September 7 with four members to interact with supporters when an unwanted remark was heard in the background.
Although a member off-screen provided them covers and jackets to cover their legs, one crew could be overheard, arguing that they wanted to expose their legs. Spectators could also hear something which seemed like slapping in the distance. The group's managing label F-ENT has issued an official statement of apology on this matter.
"First of all, we would like to apologize to the members and supporters for the sensitive matter of the staff members' comments produced throughout the live broadcast on September 7."
They concluded the letter by taking full responsibility for the mistake made by their staff, including taking appropriate action for the person heard in the stream. (via Koreaboo)

During the show, the members made a particular lottery draw between their supporters to determine who will receive a drawing by member Doi. Each member was wearing a skimpy outfit, with no blankets or coats to conceal their legs.
This is noteworthy, as female icons are usually equipped with blankets or similar objects to hide their legs while sitting, to avoid accidents. The position of the camera at the time reveals the legs of the participants. Around 11 minutes later, a female staff member passes a purple sweater to Via, that hides her and Chaelin's legs.
A few moments after, the same female staff personally put another coat over Doi and Rayeon's legs. However, as soon as the girls' legs were covered, a male speaker can be heard, followed by two occurrences of what seems like somebody being slapped.
After that has been recorded, Doi gives back the coat hiding her and Rayeon's legs, and Doi had a worried look on her face when doing so.
The moment the clapping sound happens, Chaelin suddenly stops mid-sentence and imposes a smile. Rayeon prompts a smile at that time, too. At the same time, Via is just looking up, perhaps to another staff member.
Some fans noted that the person giving the covers is not a staff member, but was another member, Sika. However, the name of the lady who brought the jackets to the members has not been verified. (via Koreaboo)
