Tomorrow X Together, or popularly referred to as TXT, is a South Korean boy group of five members established by Big Hit Entertainment is slated for a late October comeback!
Members of the group include Soobin, Yeonjun, Beomgyu, Taehyun, and Huening Kai, who debuted with EP The Dream Chapter: Star on March 4, 2019. (via Kpopstarz)
Their music previously made its debut and ranked number one on the Gaon Album Chart and Billboard World Albums Chart. It made it to number 140 in the US Billboard 200, becoming the top-charting studio album of any male K-pop group.
The lead track "Crown" from the album topped the World Digital Songs after its release, soaring the Billboard Emerging Artists Chart. This rendered them the quickest K-pop band featured in World Digital Albums and in the Billboard Emerging Artist, the second-fastest K-Pop band to show up.
A few new artists of the year were awarded the mainstream success of the band. TXT's awards include Rookie of the Year at the 34th Golden Disc Awards and the 2019 Melon Music Awards, New Artist of the Year at the 9th Gaon Chart Music Awards, and Best New Male Artist at the 2019 Mnet Asian Music Awards.
Meanwhile, TXT produced its Japanese breakthrough on January 15, 2020, with the track "Magic Hour," that features the Japanese versions of their "Run Away," "Crown," and "Angel or Devil" hits. On August 19, TXT marked their initial Japanese return with their second single "Drama."
The Japanese versions of "Drama" and "Can't You See Me?" and also "Everlasting Shine," their first original Japanese hit, are included on the single release.
The main theme of Season 12 of the anime series Black Clover, which began filming on September 1, was picked to be "Everlasting Shine" The band is expected to appear together with BTS at the finale of the 2020 survival television show I-Land.
OSEN announced on September 17 that TXT is in the ultimate stages of the development process for the latest, refreshing album planned for release by the end of October. Soon afterward, "TXT is planning to return in late October," a Big Hit Entertainment representative verified to Newsen.
