"We Got Divorced," an upcoming show by TV Chosun, is soon to air!
MBC previously aired a fake dating show for celebrities titled "We Got Married." The reality-variety show aired from 2008-2017. This show brought together stars who pretended and acted like married couples to complete different tasks and challenges. The show broadcasted for four seasons that includes "global edition" that featured non-Korean celebrities.
Now, TV Chosun announces its upcoming show entitled "We Got Divorced," which might be the opposite of MBC's "We Got Married."
"We Got Divorced," according to an exclusive report from YTN, will be a new variety show on that will be led by Lee Kook Yong PD, who is also the PD for the Taste of Love series, wrote Koreaboo. The program will also be penned by writer Jung Sun Young, behind 1 Night 2 Days.
The upcoming variety show was supposed to be named "A Taste of X" and planned to be the third segment of the "Taste of" series after "Taste of Love" and "Taste of Wife." They decided to change the show's name to "We Got Divorced" on the process of production.
Reportedly, the show featured divorce stories in a refreshing way. The production team is still on the process of finalization, such as its schedule of first episode broadcast and the show's cast members who are still in a stage of the agreement.
TV Chosun confirmed that the producers of the "Taste of Love" series are preparing for the upcoming variety show "We Got Divorced." As per the statement, they are now launching the new variety show as the production team is in its last stages of the preparation.
Revealed also in the news that actors Lee Young Ha and Sunwoo Eun Sook will be the two pointed out to join the cast. They were married for 26 long years. However, they separated and divorced in 2007. Despite being divorced, they are both in good terms and recently appeared in a broadcast together again. Both the actors became veterans and continued acting in TV dramas.
