In 2006, he headed to JYP Entertainment, even though he had no intention of becoming an artist before. Nichkhun confessed that he initially only followed through after completing the audition since he did not really have any particular aspirations in life and was a little uncertain back then.
Nichkhun added how he did not like attending school classes, and he would hang out with his friends most of the time. Around the moment in his experience, he decided to open up more.
The idol revealed that he used not to rave or spark loads of trouble, but played badminton with his peers instead. He clarified that he does not go drinking at night as the usual hang-out teens do nowadays.
Still, his addiction to playing badminton with his friends is his favorite thing to do, leading him to cut classes during his non-celebrity days. Nichkhun admitted that his best course of action was to move to Korea as a trainee, which was reaffirmed with his dad's blessing and guidance.
Along with the remorse Nichkhun had over all the problems he realized he was producing, Nichkhun admitted how stubborn he was during his younger years, with nothing in mind but to play badminton with his friends. To repay his parents' patience with him, he decided to go with his dad's consent.
