BLACKPINK, at 1 PM KST, held a special Naver V Live broadcast to talk about their upcoming first full-length album, fittingly entitled "The Album."
BLACKPINK And Cardi B Collaboration: The Beginning
Previously, it was announced that Cardi B would be collaborating with BLACKPINK for one of its tracks from the newly released album, "The Album."
After the girl group revealed its tracklist, Cardi's involvement in the new BLACKPINK album was confirmed. Cardi hyped the collaboration up on Twitter: "Bardipink in your area. And the song is amazing."
Rosé Fangirling
Cardi B posted a cute spoiler clip on Twitter of Rosé singing her part, and the BLACKPINK member then happily brought it up, saying, "Cardi B gave an impression of me," excitedly sharing with the other members.
"Did you see it?" Rosé asks, adding that it was okay because "Cardi B unnie already gave this spoiler."
The BLACKPINK members then proceeded to hum part of the song as a preview for fans, while Rosé shared Cardi B's Twitter spoiler on her Instagram story ahead of the broadcast.
BLACKPINK's Older Sister
The BLACKPINK members share their excitement about the track, affectionately calling her "Cardi B unnie." Rosé described their new track as "very refreshing," while Jennie described it as "fun and happy—a song that makes you want to sing along."
Rosé, mentioning that she was looking forward to the song, added, "The moment that you hear Cardi B's rap, it'll make you go, 'Ahh.'"
The Album Is Out
The first full-length album of BLACKPINK was released digitally on October 2 at 1 PM KST and the music video for the quartet's title track "Lovesick Girls." On October 6, the physical version of the album will be finally experienced by fans.
