Lee Do Hyun might be joining Go Min Si for a new romance drama set in May 1980!
As per Soompi, it was reported on October 6 that both actors were cast as leads in the KBS 2TV drama “Youth of May” (literal translation). The drama is about two young people who became swept up in the Gwangju Uprising in May 1980.
The Drama Roles
Offered to portray a troublemaker named Hwang Hee Tae, Lee Do Hyun hates anything predictable. A war on prejudice is what describes his life.
Lee Do Hyun earned top grades and even entered the Seoul National University College of Medicine to break the prejudice against single mothers' sons. The character also plays the guitar and enjoys going to music cafes. However, he ends up experiencing the harshest of May of his life due to unexpected events.
Simultaneously, Go Min Si was offered to portray a hard-working nurse named Kim Myung Hee, who left home and is now living in Gwangju all by herself. She’s smart and skillful enough to find the proper blood vessel at once, although she’s not friendly enough to comfort crying patients. And unlike her beautiful appearance, she’s more like a warrior than an angel. She also has a cold exterior.
