tvN’s upcoming drama Awaken unveiled its first teaser where Namgoong Min displays composure surrounded with danger!
Awaken is a new thriller mystery drama about a series of mysterious cases in a town. The incidents had a connection to issues that took place 28 years ago. Starring Namgoong Min portrays as Do Jung Woo, a legendary team leader of a special task force at the National Police Agency. Also starring in the drama is Kim Seol Hyun, as Gong Hye Won, a passionate police officer behind her charming face, is a blazing temper whenever she needs to be.
Another was Lee Chung Ah takes son the role of a detective on loan from the FBI, Jamie Layton. She was an adoptive child with almost no memories of her past and then returned to Korea to resolve an issue about the killing incident. The drama’s story will uncover the secrets behind the cases that took place a long time ago.
The newly released teaser shows a glimpse of Namgoong Min as a charismatic Do Jung Woo walking into the warehouse with hands stained with blood, messy hair, a constant slouch, and is sucking with lollipop like a kid. As a crowd of police officers suddenly surrounds towards him with riffles on hands, he said in a voice-over, “I have decided not to believe in gods anymore.” Behind his sly exterior, he comprises a mysterious secret.
Amidst the numerous police officer surrounding and facing a sea of guns pointed directly at Do Jung Woo, he embraces a relaxed attitude as he pulls a lollipop out of his jacket pocket with a smirk. As he faces the camera, his gaze turned cold, and said, “Whose fault is it that I have been cast out into the world?”
The upcoming tvN drama Awaken currently sets to premiere sometime late in November.
