Former K-pop girl group Rainbow got together not for a new album but Jisook's upcoming wedding!
Last October 2019, previous Rainbow member Jisook unveiled her relationship with a businessman and a programmer, Lee Doo Hee. Both are cast members on MBC's reality show, Don't Be Jealous, which shows love stories and celebrities' everyday lives in a relationship.
On June 30, 2020, the couple announced to have decided to get married. The same day, Lee Doo Hee said to have difficulty with booking the wedding hall in the first half of the year due to the threat of the COVID-19 pandemic. He also added that instead of waiting for the right day, whichever date they can get is the perfect day.
On October 27, Jisook and her soon-to-be-husband Lee Doo Hee revealed that they would be pursuing the wedding on October 31. Also, her agency, Starit Entertainment, released an official statement about the wedding matter. They also stated that the couple would have an intimate wedding with their families and close friends.
Recently, on October 29, Jisook posted on her Instagram account some of their photos during their wedding photoshoot together with her former members of the group Rainbow. In her adorable photos shared, she wrote, "I love you," "ROYGBIV," "My fellow members are really the best," and "I can always depend on them, and they're also pretty to boot."
All of the members were present includes Seungah, Woori, Jaekyung, Yoonhye, Noeul, and Hyunyoung. Three wedding photos represent each of the members' colors by showing off holding a pair of shoes. These colors were explicitly red, yellow, orange, green, indigo, blue, and violet, just like the Rainbow's actual colors, so they were called Rainbow.
They formed a curve to represent their group while each of them wearing colored shoes. Among the group, Jisook is the first member to get married.
Later on, some of her celebrity friends responded to the photo shots shared with admiring comments.
On October 31, Jisook will tie the knot with Lee Doo Hee in an intimate wedding ceremony.
