Park Ji Hoon has finally returned with his first full-length album, MESSAGE!
The idol-actor held a showcase to release his full album MESSAGE on November 4. The album MESSAGE relays the excitement someone feels when they first begin to fall in love.
The title track GOTCHA is a song that has an 808 bass, trap rhythm, and a refreshing Latin rhythm. It slowly builds up a dreamlike atmosphere. Park Ji Hoon looks charming through his confident rap.
The album comprises a total of ten tracks, which includes "Hit It Off," produced by and features Penomeco, "DRESS CODE," also made by Penomeco, "50-50," features EB, and "Scenario," features Sweden Laundry.
Park Ji Hoon revealed he was nervous and excited about releasing his first full-length album. He said about fully transforming styles into something more hip. Filming for a drama and preparing for the full album at the same time was not that easy, but he worked hard.
He then shared that the music video's overall story conveys that he is confident enough to steal the other person's heart. He also wanted to include a variety of interesting points, like playing two different roles.
Also, the music video has a vibe of a noir film. Park Ji Hoon watched a lot of noir films to practice and switched up his hairstyle. He wanted to make a change since he was acting in Love Revolution.
Park Ji Hoon expressed his gratitude to Penomeco that it was an honor to have him feature in one of his tracks. He also cited Sweden Laundry and EB and confessed to being worried about his voice not suited to their voices due to his ability lacks.
The singer-actor also expressed affections towards his fans known as May. He then revealed that May is like family; he cannot live without them. He thought of singing "Mayday" because his fans always protect and stay by his side.
Park Ji Hoon said that he enjoyed singing and acting and that his activities as a singer helped a lot in his acting.
The artist concluded that he would not say he wants to see good results from the album's promotions because he thought it would just make his fans felt pressured. He just wanted to hear that he is a multi-talented artist.
