BTS’s BE first-week sales are smashing numbers
A week has passed since the world’s most phenomenal K-pop group, the Bangtan Boys, has dropped its much-anticipated alum entitled BE. The said album is the fifth Korean-language album entry of the boy band and marks its third release this year.
With that said, as per the K-pop dedicated news site, Soompi, the renowned Hanteo Chart made an announcement on November 27 (Friday) that BTS’s new album BE, which a deluxe edition, earns a whopping score in its first week of sales.
The figure released by the Hanteo Chart goes in the impressive number of 3,274,882 copies, dating from November 20 to November 26.
The announcement comes after a few days Hanteo announced that the South Korean boy ensemble of seven had surpassed 1,950,000 copies. Counting a day since the album was released. The copies sold then skyrocketed to over 2 million after two days.
Moreover, as reported by Allkpop, BE is now the second-highest first-week sales of the renowned Hanteo Chart, coming after BTS’s previous album released in February entitled Map of the Soul: 7. The last album holds the remarkable record of 3,378,633 copies in its first week.
BTS is unstoppable; figures prove
The notable success of BTS, not just with BE, but also with its erstwhile album releases, proves that they are unlike no other.
A further report by Sports Today says that the Dynamite singers and rappers own an estimated earning of 89 billion won, or around $81 million; The figures come in handy of the BE first-week sales.
Despite the high price of BE compared to BTS's last album, it is still not a hindrance for the band to become a record-breaker once again, storming over the global music stage, as expected.
