TWICE’s official Twitter account presented the all-girl K-Pop group’s online concert entitled “Beyond LIVE – TWICE: World in A Day.”
Due to the global pandemic caused by COVID-19, artists were prevented from performing in concerts; however, South Korean girl group TWICE will not leave their fans in a total wreck while the quarantine season is still on. According to Soompi, the online concert’s concept “touring the entire world” in a day, with the tag “World in A Day,” is set to cater ONCE across the globe.
Sana, Momo, Dahyun, Nayeon, Tzuyu, Chaeyoung, Jihyo, Mina, and Jeongyeon will interact and entertain their fans through electrifying performances, singing their hit songs that made the group earn their spot in the entertainment industry. The said online concert will be aired live on August 9 at 3 P.M. KST via V Live.
TWICE’s upcoming online concert is presented by South Korean-based entertainment company, Beyond Live. Beyond Live is run by SM Entertainment and is an innovative online platform that aims to bring artists to perform virtually in a concert the same setup. It includes a mixture of technology optimization combination of the artists’ dynamic performances, stage setup, live synchronized video cameras, and high-quality 3D graphics.
Beyond Live is the first to create a personalized system named Sync Play that contemporizes the fans’ fanlight device to the artist’s performances.
Several K-Pop superstars have graced the Beyond Live stage in the past, like NCT 127, Super Junior, TVXQ!, and NCT DREAM.
The upcoming online concert TWICE will be Beyond Live’s first experience to work with a non-SM Entertainment artist.

TWICE Topped Oricon’s Daily Song Charts
In a previous report, TWICE has recently dominated Japan’s Oricon Daily Song Charts with their Japanese hit-single “Fanfare.” Alongside TWICE, BTS also topped Oricon’s Daily Album Charts with their newly released “Map of the Soul: 7 ~The Journey~.”
