Han So Hee answered the rumors about her mother not paying debts.

According to Soompi, an anonymous personality posted through a social media forum regarding a scam issue involving the mother of a celebrity who became known for portrayals in drama series, "The World of the Married."

The online forum included a series of texts containing a conversation between the complainant and the famous artist's mother. In the post, the personality explained that from October 2015 t0 August 2016, they have joined a 'gye' managed by a celebrity's mother and had to sacrifice meals to comply with the monthly contribution of 2,450,000 won or about $2030.

A 'gye' is a traditional private fund popular in Korea that collects money from members then takes turns receiving a lump sum share, wrote Soompi.

As the schedule came that the complainant will suppose to receive the money, the celebrity's mother became unreachable. But later on, she sent a 'promissory note' expressing her willingness to pay but monthly.

However, she changed her number and cut off contact with the complainant.

The complainant also expressed that she told the mother of the actress that he is okay with just the principal amount as payback, but the mother said that she could do so after her daughter becomes famous.

After the actress's stint in "The World of the Married," the complainant contacted her mother again. He asked for the debt payment, but the mother said that she is no longer in contact with her daughter anymore.

The angry complainant expressed saying that how could a mother screw up life while raising a child. He believed for the promise for three years and even saw the daughter of the mother rose in popularity, but still, nothing in between was solved.

Meanwhile, Han So Hee wrote in her blog an apology to the victims. Knowing that the actress meant on the forum was her. She said that she just learned about her mother's debts after turning 20 because she is no longer in contact with her.

Han So Hee felt obligated to pay her mother's debts even in their distance because she considers it a parent-child responsibility. She noted that she refunded the creditors even before her debut to find out that her mother still has a lot of debt accounts.

"I was so young during that time and still immature in life. I thought that the way to solve it was to repay the debt on behalf of my mother. Only to realize that it will just cause more troubles," Han So Hee said.

The actress ended her statement saying her most sincere apologies to the victims involved.
