Will BLACKPINK be collaborating with Little Mix soon? It seems that the British pop act is excited to work Jennie, Jisoo, Lisa, and Rose for an epic hit.
According to a report by BBC UK, Little Mix's Jesy Nelson and Jade Thirwall expressed excitement to work with BLACKPINK and already envisioned the costumes and choreography that will go with the song preparation.
"Who knows? There are so many people we want to collab with. Can you imagine the dance routine to that? And the costumes? We're just waiting for the DM back," the girls said in an interview with Capital FM.
This was not the first time that Little Mix expressed openness in working with BLACKPINK. In June, they revealed in a Little Mix answers the Internet interview that they think that working with Jennie, Lisa, Jisoo, and Rose would be a great idea. "They're wicked!" they said, referring to the Kpop act's talent.
With Little Mix's statement, it seems that the communication channels have been opened between their management, and fans can eagerly anticipate a collaboration shortly.
Meanwhile, after picking up a win at the recent Teen Choice Award for Choice Single for DDU DU DDU DU, BLACKPINK is now nominated for the E! People's Choice Awards. Jennie, Lisa, Jisoo, and Rose have picked up a nod for three categories -- The Group of 2019, The Music Video of 2019 and The Concert Tour of 2019.
BLACKPINK is not the sole Kpop act to be nominated for the said categories as it was reported by Metro that BTS is also in the running for the awards. It will be a tough competition though because both BLACKPINK and BTS will face off with international acts like The Jonas Brothers, Ariana Grande, Shawn Mendes, and Camila Cabello and Justin Timberlake for the three categories.
BLACKPINK members are currently preparing for their Private Stage performances on September 21 at the Olympic Hall in Seoul. The intimate get together with their loyal BLINKs will happen in two timeslots, 1 pm and 6 pm on the same day. This is expected to be BLACKPINK's last fan event in Seoul before they concentrate on promoting their upcoming Japanese album which will feature the Japanese version of Kill This Love.
This is expected to be BLACKPINK's lead into three major concert stages at the Tokyo Dome Arena, Kyocera Dome in Osaka and the Fukuoka Dome from December this year to February next year.
