Mnet's I-LAND has released a sneak peek of the trainees' standing based on the ongoing global voting.
On July 24, I-LAND opened the global voting at midnight. The ballot allows viewers around the globe to vote for their favorite contestants. According to media reports, viewers from 171 countries have participated in the voting process, and it was revealed that the votes had reached tens of millions.
Viewers on the voting process are asked to choose six contestants that they want to see on part two of I-LAND, and Mnet announced the partial result on July 31 as to who got the most votes per country or region as of noon KST. The standing of the artists on the voting system still may change, but the partial rankings somehow give a glimpse into how things are going.
Ni-Ki holds the top spot in Japan while Daniel captured the viewers' hearts in the US. Meanwhile, in Vietnam, Hanbin got the most votes while Sunoo tops the rankings in Mexico. China chose Sunghoon while in Australia and Nepal, Jake and Jay are on the top spot, respectively.
Moreover, the viewers in Greece gave their votes to K, while Heenseung took the most votes in India. The trainee who has the most votes in Korea viewers will be revealed during the upcoming episode.
The global voting will end on August 2, 12-noon KST, and determine who will move to the next level.
