On August 10, KST, Park Sun Ho officially began his enlistment term as a member of the South Korean Ministry of Defense’s honor guard.
Prior to Park Sun Ho’s enlistment, the actor took to Instagram to say his final goodbye to his fans, sharing a couple of recent photoshoots images of himself and writing a quick “I’ll return in good health.” According to reports, the actor’s plan for joining the military is a two-year program.
Park Sun Ho is an actor, singer, and model who is signed under Starship Entertainment in 2008. The actor trained under the agency for six years before leaving the company in early 2014. The actor missed his chance to debut twice with groups Monsta X and Boyfriend.
After leaving Starship Entertainment, Park Sun Ho pursued an acting career under SidusHQ, which landed him the role of Kim Young Won in the drama “Golden Rainbow.” After his debut in the K-drama, the actor was later cast in significant roles in movies such as “Love Cells” in 2014, Start Again” in 2014, and “I’m Sorry, But I Love You” in 2016.
Moreover, Park Sun Ho debuted his singing career in 2014 with the song “After Love,” which was included in the OST of “Love Cells.”
After that, Park Sun Ho participated as a trainee for the reality show “Produce X 101” in March 2019. During the show’s first episode on May 3, 2019, the actor revealed that he joined the show to pursue his dreams to be an idol once again.
However, Park Sun Ho felt short on the show and would go in finishing in the 25th place with 814,160 votes. His ranking performance moved trainer, Jae Seung, into tears as they were close when Park Sun Ho was still under Starship Entertainment.
After his mishap in “Produce X 101”, Park Sun Ho was cast as Lee Gwang Cheol for the 2020 Netflix drama “Rugal.”
