YG Entertainment’s newly debuted all-boy group TREASURE achieved its first Youtube feat with its first music video!
Emerging K-pop group TREASURE is still running towards dominating the global music stage as their freshly released track has earned a massive 10 million views on the Youtube platform.
In a breezy summer evening of August 8 (Saturday), the rookie group’s music video for their lead single called “Boy” has conventionally smashed the 10-million mark on Youtube. According to Hellokpop, it only took 26 full hours for TREASURE to achieve the impressive hit since the music video’s worldwide launch.
The Youtube milestone of TREASURE adds to the band’s general list of achievements, following their official Youtube channel’s earnings of 1.71 million subscribers. And as of writing, “Boy’s” music video has a whopping of over 16 million views, counting four days since its chart-topping release.
The achievement of “Boy” is not just it: In a V LIVE report, TREASURE also climbed its way up to the No. 1 spot on various digital music charts across the globe upon their album’s debut.
For those who missed the debut of TREASURE, the all-boy multi-national ensemble is handled and launched by YG Entertainment, following the agency’s launch of BLACKPINK.
The rookies’ bottles up twelve members, namely Jihoon, Choi Hyunsuk, Junkyu, Yoshi, Yoon Jaehyuk, Mashiho, Bang Yedam, Asahi, Haruto, Doyoung, So Junghwan, and Jeong-woo. Credible sources say that TREASURE emerges as one of the most potential stars of K-pop this year.
The band’s debut comes with their first album entitled “THE FIRST STEP: CHAPTER ONE,” released simultaneously with their appearance on August 7.
On the other hand, “Boy” is an addictive track that tags along in a vast and enlivening beat, making the listeners dance. The song sings of young love between two teenagers whose lyrics talk about the feeling of being in love for the first time.
