tvN's reality show "The House Detox" features Yoon Eun Hye's home's total transformation.
"The House Detox" features the helping hands of Shin Ae Ra, Yoon Kyun Sang, and Park Na Rae in their mission to organize homes. Previously, the producer of the show revealed that Yoon Eun Hye contacted them asking for help. And on August 10, the singer invited the cast to the house where she lives with her manager, whom she worked with for ten years and a close friend who's a vocal trainer.
The singer explained how they ended up living together. She said that she was lonely when she started living independently, so she invited people over and started living together. She noted that living with others made her more extroverted and also happier. And with a laugh, she said that since it's been eight years since she moved to the place, there are already many unfamiliar belongings in the home.
Despite the spotless living room that she has where she can invite other people over, she showed one entire wall covered in large white wardrobes for storage.
The areas she considered problematic in their home are his living room closet packed with belongings, their many storage areas for shoes, and hallway dressers where they kept shared items like sports equipment and socks and a room for clothes.
Yoon Eun Hye shared that she is about to donate some of her clothes. "Thank you for already taking all this out," Shin Ae Ra said.
The actress showed her rooms full of items and also her artworks, such as candle drippings. She shared that she had considered a career in art when she was younger, and she's still interested in studying art while choosing to become a celebrity.
The cast of the show on their first task transferred all the shoes of Yoon Eun Hye and her roommates into the living room. Yoon Eun Hye, looking on the shoes, said that she was embarrassed with the mess and expressed that it was not something to boast about. They sorted the shoes into one she wants, one she needs and ones to get rid of.
After the sorting and cleaning, Yoon Eun Hye served the team a meal, and she and her roommates continued to clear things out. The show "The House Detox" shared that getting rid of belongings spend the longest time.
Meanwhile, when Yoon Eun Hye returned to her newly organized home, she was first surprised to see that the shoe rack by the entrance now has more space than before. She exclaimed, "Where did they all go?" and noted that she is happy seeing the organized space.
The bedroom, which had been used as a shared space, had become a room where she could rest and relax. She also expressed her happiness to now have a space for painting.
The cast also set up a mini garden for her in the windowed room in the bedroom, transforming it from what had been a storage space.
