The members organized a digital meeting to commemorate the launch of BTS 'latest single "Dynamite" August 21 KST — where they sat and responded to questions for the wondering mainstream media and supporters.
BTS addressed their latest presence at this event in the K-pop survival series I-LAND's seventh episode, where members decided that the show's invitation made them feel and recall the "good old times."
J-Hope mentioned he felt the need to inspire the show's trainees because the rehearsal facilities reminded him of when he was a new hire. While Jungkook also spoke about how the Q&A talk with the trainees reminds him of his concerns as a trainee.
He explained, "Their queries were very connected to [him], so I felt inspired. We spent a bit of time listening and addressing their concerns. And I found that their concerns didn't differ from those I had when I was a trainee. So it was profoundly relatable. In comparison, it left me feeling empowered. And I understand the questions will continue to spring up in their heads, but I hope they will also spend more time learning how to love themselves and become confident." (via Koreaboo)
J-hope explained how the trainees gave him goosebumps and a huge inspiration while he was interacting with them. The idol also didn't miss out on learning something in return as well.
BTS member Jungkook then concluded his statement by wishing all of the trainees 'good luck' on all the challenges and tasks that they will be facing soon in the course of the show and real-life as they continue to aspire to become idols.
Jungkook emphasized in his statement that growth is the most significant thing a trainee should look forward too, despite getting exhausted. The idol expects nothing less but to see the trainees gain confidence in themselves in the coming years working in the industry.
