tvN’s urban fantasy drama titled “Tale Of The Nine-Tailed” is getting ready for its premiere!
Per Soompi, “Tale of the Nine-Tailed” follows the story of a male gumiho (a mythical nine-tailed fox) who lives in the city (played by Lee Dong Wook) and the producing director (PD) who is fearless and determined to hunt him down (played by Jo Bo Ah).
On August 20, the new Wednesday-Thursday drama was announced to air starting on October 7 as the follow-up drama of “Flower of Evil.”
Taking the role of gumiho Yi Yeon is actor Lee Dong Wook. The series will be Lee Dong Wook’s first fantasy drama in three years following his role in “Goblin.” His character with striking good looks and fiery charisma is bound to charm the viewers.
Jo Bo Ah, on the other hand, will be playing the role of a producer who runs a program about supernatural entities. Aside from her determination and attitude to chase for the truth, her character is refreshing and filled with fearlessness and courage even as she gets caught up in fateful events.
The actress will be making a shocking transformation in the upcoming drama, as she is known for being exposed to various acting genres.
Furthermore, Kim Bum will be joining the leads who will be appearing in the series as his first drama after four years. The matinee idol will be playing the role of Yi Yang, who is Yi Yeon’s half-brother and was born from a human and gumiho. With Kim Bum’s acting experience, he will create dramatic tension in the drama as he is bound to portray the volatile emotions of Yi Yeon skillfully.
Meanwhile, surrounding the leads are the actors, Kim Jong Ji, Kim Jung Nan, Hwang Hee, and Ahn Kil Kang who will help create great chemistry from the cast and will add spice to the drama to make sure that the “Tale of the Nine-Tailed” will be as impressive as it is geared to be.
“Tale of the Nine-Tailed” premieres on October 7 at 10:50 PM, KST, as “Flower of Evil’s” follow-up.
