The drama draws interest as it is set as part of the world of classical music, a not often seen theme in Korean dramas. The genius pianist who has won multiple international competitions is Park Joon Young, played by Kim Min Jae.
Kim Min Jae talks about preparing the role of a piano prodigy Park Joon Young, the first Korean pianist to won an award at the International Chopin Piano Competition. The actor starts by stating that being a pianist seems appealing to him.
He wanted to portray Park Joon Young because he tours the world that performs in recitals but was not always happy. There are times that he appears as impressive, and there were also times that he becomes dark.
Meanwhile, he did not have many opportunities to find out more about classical music, and the genre was hard for him to approach. While preparing for the drama, he asked for many sources for help, went to concerts, and came across and listened to classical music as well.
