Yoon Doojoon is classy and debonair in the latest photoshoot with the lifestyle magazine, Esquire!
During the magazine's post-shoot interview, Yoon Doojoon talked about variety shows, stating that variety shows are entertaining. He shared that he worked hard to try acting naturally and show his real side on shows. He continued that although performing on stage or even playing in dramas were all set up in advance, it is necessary to act like you're in a live variety show in every take. "Mentally, it feels more comfortable."
Referring to the statement that variety shows are different from acting because you have to show yourself on camera longer, Yoon Doojoon states that he was already on a variety show right after debuting. He even went to Africa and dug wells on "Sunday Night." For him, the job was tiring and exhausting, but in the long run, he realized that variety shows do not have to consume more emotions.
Moreover, Yoon Doojoon reveals that he feels more relaxed now on variety shows because he works with people he had already met and had worked with before. It made him feel more at ease, and although the actor is still adjusting and working on his timing with senior celebrities, he has already exercised patience and confidence.
Meanwhile, Yoon Doojoon talks about "Daybreak," his first solo album released last month. When asked about why he was the last one among his members who pursued single music activities, he revealed that he did not desire to make a solo album. He shared that he started wishing to become a singer because he wanted to be an idol group member.
The singer-actor continued that even though solo activities can show a different version of a singer and give a performer's style and charms more clearly, it is still cooler when performing with a group. Later on, he realized that the fans started to feel bad because he is the only one not doing solo activities, so he worked on 'Daybreak.'
In Yoon Doojoon's album, the interviewer pointed out the message of emptiness and loneliness. Concerning the thought, Yoon Doojoon said that it was not a message, but it was just how he felt. "I came up with a theme that applies to my life since it was my first album."
Finally, Yoon Doojoon shares what he is feeling lately, saying that when people get older, they become more sensitive and concerned about each problem instead of considering it as not a big deal.
