On August 25, tvN released another teaser for the upcoming KDrama "Record of Youth," starring Park Bo Gum, Park So Dam, and Byun Woo Seok.
"Record of Youth" revolves around young people struggling to reach their dreams and the harsh reality of the modeling industry. The K-drama's story revolves around Sa Hye Joon (Park Bo Gum), a pragmatic, ambiguous young man, and also an aspiring model/actor in the series.
Meanwhile, Ahn Jung Ha (Park So Dam) is an aspiring make-up artist and a strong woman with a strong sense of self. And Byun Woo Seok stars as Won Hae Hyo, a model who wants to achieve his dreams without his family name's help.
The "Record of Youth" teaser features Park Bo Gum's character, Sa Hye Joon, making his way in the modeling industry while working in various part-time jobs. In doing so, the character spots Ahn Jung Ha, who becomes his fan – and later his friend. Sa Hye Joon struggles to justify his dreams to become a model to his friends and family, who wants him to face the reality of life and give up.
On the other hand, Won Hae Hyo is a popular model and Sa Hye Joon's best friend. However, Won Hae Hyo's mother, Kim Yi Young (Shin Ae Ra), does not have a close relationship with Han Ae Sook (Ha Hee Ra) Sa Hye Joon's mother by saying "just because our sons our friends doesn't mean that we are also."
On other related news, "Record of Youth" also reveals new posters, portraying Sa Hye Joon's (Park Bo Gum) and Woo Hae Hyo's (Byun Woo Seok) families enjoying a leisure day. Although the two are close friends who share the same dream of becoming actors, they have been raised in a very different environment.
In Sa Hye Joon's poster, his family walks down a street with bright smiles heading back for home after shopping for groceries. At the same time, Woo Hae Hyo's family is seen enjoying their day in the garden and drinking tea.
"Record of Youth" premieres on September 7 at 9 p. m. KST.
