On August 30, Crayon Pop member Gummi announces the birth of her firstborn.

Gummi took to Instagram to share the news of the birth of her first baby into her marriage. The Crayon Pop member also revealed that she had given birth 13 dates before her due date, but the baby was healthy and is doing well. She added that the baby is still eight days old.

It was reported earlier that Gummi would be getting married to long-time boyfriend on February 23. The Crayon Pop member stated that their wedding would be a private ceremony without an officiant, to respect the fact that her partner is a non-celebrity.

The members of Crayon Pop is also reported to have attended the said ceremony to celebrate Gummi’s wedding and show support with Crayon Pop member Choa performing a celebratory song for the couple.

Wedding dress company, Rosaposa shared photos from the event, showing Gummi’s beautiful wedding dress she wore in her wedding.

It was reported that Gummi’s husband is the same age as her and is also a businessman who will run a business in the United States. They have been dating for a while and decided to tie the knot on February 23. While they were preparing for their wedding, she found out that she was also pregnant.

Gummi also shared a handwritten letter to her fans about the news of her marriage and pregnancy. In the letter, the Crayon Pop member thanked her fans for their support and apologized for being inactive for the past month.

Gummi also stated in the letter about the reason she got married to her husband, saying that he is a long-time friend and lover, and they have been dating for a while. The Crayon Pop member added that her husband is a reliable person who has always been on her side, and he truly knows the meaning of true happiness.

Gummi debuted on Crayon Pop in 2012 with their performance of “Saturday Night” on Mnet’s ‘M! Countdown” in July 2012. The group gained a massive increase in their popularity with their single “Bar Bar Bar” in June 2013.

Crayon Pop’s unique stage outfits and choreography gained public attention and made their title song a viral hit. The group was able to earn numerous awards, including the New Rising Star Award at the Golden Disk Award, the Hot Trend Award at MelOn Music Awards, and Best New Female Artist on Mnet Asian Music Awards.
