Former SISTAR member Bora has signed a deal with KeyEast Entertainment to pursue her career as an actress.
On August 31, former SISTAR member Bora has struck a deal with KeyEast Entertainment. Company CEO Park Sung Hae stated that her talent had recognized the former SISTAR member as an idol and an actress, which encouraged her to begin acting in 2017 while being a group member, Soompi reported.
The KeyEast Entertainment CEO continued that Bora has been building up her resume' by starring on smaller roles until she made her way up. CEO Park Sung Hae ended his statement by saying that the company will give the former idol their full support to pursue her dreams as an actress.
In the past months, Bora was rumored to be signing up with KeyEast, saying that the two parties have discussed an exclusive contract with the former idol. The label continues, "If she signs on with KeyEast, she'll be joining actors like Son Hyun Joo, Jung Ryeo Won, Joo Ji Hoon, Kim Eui Sung, Son Dam Bi, Park Soo Jin, and Kim Dong Wook as label mates."
Bora or Yoon Bo-ra was born on December 30, 1989, in Seoul, South Korea, and is a singer/actress, identified as a former member of SISTAR. In June 2010, she was introduced to be one of the group members of SISTAR along with Dasom, Hyolyn, and Soyou.
After the group's formation, Bora and other members of SISTAR begun their promotions until the girl group released their debut single titled "Push Push," resulting in an all-out success on their music career. The group would continue their success by working in Japan and would win the Newcomer Award through the Golden Disk Awards in 2012.
Bora would later be a part of sub-unit SISTAR19 with member Hyolyn and released the single "So Cool" and "Ma Boy."
