Somi is unquestionably a remarkable person, described most of the time as an influential, skilled, enthusiastic, and caring person. As she unveiled in an interview with Elle, it was because of her definition of a strong person — her mother!

Talking more about Somi's music and more discussing her favorite things with Elle, things took an unexpectedly heart-warming twist when they questioned Somi what her definition of a good woman was. Somi replied immediately, without a doubt, "I would say this is my mother. She's sort of a dominant woman. She is charming and is well versed in handling all circumstances. I've learned a lot from her." (via Koreaboo)

To Somi, her mother is not only her idea of becoming a great woman because she is confident and knows how to manage scenarios efficiently, but also because she taught Somi to see her own life. Somi also admitted, with her mom's support, she became the strong woman she is today. And that she even thought about how she should influence her future kids the same way.

It seems like the phrase "like mother like daughter" certainly sounds accurate to Somi and her mother because they're both awesome people. Find out what Somi had to convey about her mother and more in the full video below:
