KBS' "Do Do Sol Sol La La Sol" is back to filming after the production was paused earlier this month due to an unprecedented COVID-19 scare!
On September 1, as reported by Allkpop, KBS2 confirmed that the drama "Do Do Sol Sol La La Sol" had resumed its filming schedules as of the day.
It can be recalled that on August 19, Heo Dong Won of "Do Do Sol Sol La La Sol" who acted in a play with Seo Sung Jong had tested positive for COVID-19. Seo Sung Jong, who was working for "To All The Guys Who Loved Me," was earlier detected to have the virus. For the entire crew and cast's safety, KBS2 halted all the filming for the series, and all the cast and crew who had potential contact with Heo Dong Won underwent voluntary COVID-19 testing.
Fortunately, the rest of the cast and crew who were tested turned out negative for the virus. And while monitoring for potential COVID-19 symptoms, most of the drama's cast and crew members then began a self-quarantine.
Furthermore, as of September 1, all the cast and crew members of "Do Do Sol Sol La La Sol," including the leads, Go Ara, and Lee Jae Wook, have returned to the continuation of the filming. KBS2 made an assurance that they are taking all precautionary measures possible to prevent the virus's further spread. (via Soompi)
The original schedule of the premiere of "Do Do Sol Sol La La Sol" was on August 28; however, it was delayed due to the COVID-19 incident, which left the broadcasting station yet to announce the new airing date of the drama.
Meanwhile, other JTBC drama series including "Probability," "Private Life," "Start-Up," and more, which halted the filming for approximately two weeks as a result of the potential contact of COVID-19 positive cases, will also be resuming the schedules of their filming soon.
