Idol turned actor Im Siwan recently participated in a photoshoot and interview with Cosmopolitan Korea!
During the interview, Im Siwan talked about promoting his group ZE: A, and how he got closer with his co-stars in his upcoming film. The idol turned actor also opened up about his thoughts on his group ZE: A after their song "Aftermath" went up the charts.
Boy group ZE: A focuses on being diverse because their members could not show off their charms while promoting with ZE: A back then. Im Siwan explained that they felt obligated to have each member take on a different concept rather than being stuck on the same style that fits the whole team.
Moreover, Im Siwan talked about "Aftermath," the song which made them viral, and he is thankful for the support and show of interest regardless of how they did it. According to Siwan, "Aftermath" is the song that the members most liked since it was released until now.
In Im Siwan's transition from a singer to actor, Im Siwan shares he should not deny that he was a singer because it would be like stripping all the time he spent in his 20's, adding that he does not want to end his singing life.
The artist believes that someone out there still enjoys their music and sings along to it. Im Siwan occasionally performs on fan meetings and try not to leave the stage entirely behind.
Meanwhile, Im Siwan is working on films "Boston 1947," "Declaration of Emergency," and another JTBC upcoming drama "Run On."
Siwan expressed that he could not believe that he is now working with senior actors even they don't have many scenes with all of them, but at least they are on the same drama. Im Siwan was also on the set of "The Attorney" with Song Kang Ho, where he called him right away after confirming that he was part of the cast. (Via Soompi)
