Fans are excited about the 9th season of 'Show Me The Money' after eight successful series launches have been completed, particularly after announcing the fantastic producer roster.
The 9th season is expected to show a fresh and unique style of rivalry and retain the same diverse producers' selection. Applications have been accepted by e-mail, via the official website, and via Instagram until 21 August 2020. Any talented and enthusiastic hip hop artist has been encouraged to audition for the show, either beginner or experienced. (via Kpopstarz)
The main difference that fans should look forward to in the series is the final prize. The season's champion will earn the title of "Young Boss" who is the new force to be counted on in the hip hop scene. The artist will also receive considerable investments in his musical activities, whether live concerts, album production, promotion, or other business projects and regular prize money.
Moreover, Mnet posted a preview on their official Youtube channel, which only sparked the spectators' high anticipation. This season is made up of four teams of producers: Zion. T & Giriboy, CODE KUNST & Paloalto, Dynamic Duo & BewhY, JUSTHIS & GROOVYROOM.
Zion.T X Giriboy
This would be the first party of producers announced for SMTM9. Zion. T is a South Korean hip hop and R&B artist, rap artist, and lyricist under the YG's sub-label The Black Label.
Zion. T is one of the VV: D crew comprising members: Crush, Zion. T, Elo, Gray, and Loco. He's appeared in various OST dramas, including The King: Eternal Monarch as well. Zion. T was SMTM5 producer with Kush in "Team YG."
CODE KUNST X PALOALTO
This was the second team for SMTM9 to expose. They were both producers in the "CODEPALO" unit in SMTM777. Paloalto was also a producer for group "ZiPal" in SMTM4 with Zico.
Moreover, Code Kunst is an artist, musician, and writer from South Korea. He made his professional debut in 2013. The artist became part of AOMG in June 2018. He was indeed a judge on the series Show Me The Money 777, Signhere, and the Rapper 3 High School.
Dynamic Duo and BewhY
The third team to show up was Dynamic Duo and BewhY. The dynamic duo is a hip hop tandem from South Korea consisting of rap artists Choiza and Gaeko. Their 2004 hit song, Taxi Driver, has become the best-selling Korean hip hop album ever. They are both affiliated to the hip hop record company Amoeba Culture, which they launched in 2006.
JUSTHIS AND GROOVYROOM
GROOVYROOM is a South Korean production pair composed of Park Gyu-Jeong and Lee Hwi-min under H1ghr Music. They are members of the YELOWS MOB squad, but in 2015 they made their separate comeback.
GROOVYROOM will be featured on Show Me The Money. The duo is known as prosperous producers, as well as DJs.
