In an interview, Song Ji Hyo shares what she felt when the television series "Was It Love?" ended, expressing relief that it is finally over. Simultaneously, she is downhearted because they had to part ways with the director, cast, and crew, whom she gets along every day for a very long time. She could not even believe that show was ending.
"Was It Love?" is a romantic drama story about No Ae Jung (Song Ji Yo). She was a single mother and worked in a movie company as a producer. She has been a single mother for about 14 years and does not have someone as a boyfriend during those years. When she finally decided to give up on finding the right man, she gets stuck in between four men.
The four men suddenly appeared in the picture and went on lengths to capture her heart. These four men were Oh Dae Ho (played by Son Ho Joon), Ryu Jin (portrayed by Song Jong Ho), Koo Pa Do (played by Kim Joon), and Oh Yeon Woo (played by Koo Ja Sung).
Song Ji Hyo described her role as Noh Ae Jung to be loving and optimistic and shows hard work and passion with her career as a movie producer. She also shared that Noh Ae Jung was a woman who would do everything to chase her dreams and her family.
Furthermore, Song Ji Hyo shared the four potential romances in the drama. It was a very different experience with four charming men because she was only used to portraying love triangle romances.
When comparing the four men characters from each other, she had a lot of bickering with Oh Dae Ho. In contrast, she felt a senior-junior friendly relationship with Ryu Jin. On the other hand, oh Yeon Woo was her daughter's adorable teacher. Lastly was Goo Pa Do, who was a very supportive friend.
She also shared that they had always had a cheerful atmosphere in the set. Her favorite scene, her character, quoted a line that says she does not have plans to depend on someone, that her dream is to become a Wonder Woman and not Cinderella. The line made her believe that her character, as Noh Ae Jung was a determined woman.
Song Ji Hyo ended the interview by expressing gratitude to the fans for supporting her role and, of course, the drama "Was It Love?"
