Former Stray Kid Member Woojin is caught in an allegation of sexually harassing women in a bar by several unidentified netizens on Twitter. However, the idol denied such claims.

An anonymous netizen named @a1b3c4s9 released a long line of post on Twitter detailing what happened at a certain bar in the Itaewon District and how the netizen was treated by the former Stray Kids member Woojin.

In the post via Twitter, the netizen stated that they went to a bar to have fun, someone approaches them and harassed them both. The netizen added the “He” used his group name a lot, saying he is famous in Korea, so they should know him probably.

The victim stated that the perpetrator approached the victim to ask for a drink and chat. However, the netizen refused the perpetrator’s offer and got pissed by the rejection. The netizen stated that they already told him that they didn’t want to chat with him or go out, but he tried to persevere and began to touch their bodies without permission.

In the later tweet, the netizen explained that the perpetrator of the sexual harassment was a K-pop Idol who had left the group and does not belong to any agency. The netizen stated that “I want all the fans to know what he really is. But, I’m not a famous person, so I can’t say anything. People will blame us because we go to bars and get drunk.”

Finally, the netizen revealed the identity of the perpetrator who had a name starting with “Woo” and has also worked for the Big 3 agencies in the country - SM Entertainment, JYP Entertainment, and YG Entertainment.

Suddenly, Kpop fans immediately thought that the perpetrator may be Woojin, who was a former member of Stray Kids, the group signed under JYP Entertainment. Woojin left the boy band on October 28, 2019.

Woojin Releases Statement Denying Allegations

In response to these rumors, former Stray Kids member Woojin posted on his personal social media account, denying any relationship or knowledge of the netizens making the accusations.

Woojin stated that he is suffering from an absurd situation right now and is writing a post to tell his fans about the situation. The former Stray Kids member ensured his fans that none of the rumors spreading online are true and he didn’t go to the places mentioned in the thread.

Finally, Woojin added that his new company is preparing to take legal action towards the people who spread false rumors and they will relay their statement afterward.
