tvN's upcoming drama "Tale of the Nine-Tailed" released a new behind-the-scenes video!
"Tale of the Nine-Tailed" is an "urban fantasy drama" that tells the story of a mythical nine-tailed fox, a male gumiho named Yi Yeon (played by Lee Dong Wook) who just settled in the city. Together with Jo Bo Ah, who portrays as a fearless and talented producing director (PD) named Nam Ji Ah, who is also determined to hunt down the gumiho. Kim Bum plays Yi Rang, Yi Yeon's half-brother, born to a human and a gumiho parent.
The video clip displayed Lee Dong Wook wholly sunk into his mysterious character as gumiho. He said that the crew made the filming very easygoing and glad to film in a comfortable and fun atmosphere. He also added that the director was friendly, approachable, attentive, and treated him warmly.
On the other hand, Jo Bo Ah also worked hard to portray her role faithfully. She shared and discussed every detail with the director. She commented, she was quite nervous because it was her first time filming, but everyone on set took good care of her, giving her a very comfortable atmosphere. Having a fun set, she was having a good time and thought of creating an exciting story.
Furthermore, Kim Bum, who plays as the drama's villain, gets along with all the staff and crew members. He often smiles even off cameras. During the interview, he was grateful and extended greetings to the viewers by supporting the drama. He enjoyed filming and expressed his gratitude to the cast and crew.
The video also displayed Lee Dong Wook and Jo Bo Ah working together. They were exchanging conversations asking about forgetting their lines. They both burst into laughers and chuckles with embarrassment as they both forget each of their lines.
Lee Dong Wook attempted to play the piano, but he had a hard time memorizing the keys. Later on, Kim Bum started playing the piano professionally, which made him feel embarrassed, shooking his head when the crew applauded him.
The upcoming drama "Tale of the Nine-Tailed" is set to premiere sometime in October.
