After the launch of Sulli's 'Docuplex' documentary last September 10th, "Why was Sulli uncomfortable?" became the subject of debate and a lot of criticism.
Sulli's close relatives and her ex-boyfriend Choiza have allegedly been overloaded with derogatory comments made by people for their supposed treatment/behavior towards the late actress. And because the increasing uproar has impacted many individuals, MBC decided to take off the documentary's official footage.
Lee Mo Hyun, the producing director (PD), clarified that the explanation for Sulli's passing was due to various circumstances. And it is a huge mistake to blame her ex-boyfriend Choiza or force all the burden on him.
They hope that someday there'll be no more bad headlines published about Choiza. It is said that the MBC documentary unveiled the explanations behind what made Sulli feel so insecure in her lifetime.
The documentary production team once said that the late celebrity was the core of numerous scandals after her debut as a young actress in 2005 and when she got her start as an idol as a part of f(x) in 2009. She was always mistaken, and behind it, there is a secret truth.
They also suggested that the harsh, vicious remarks she got from the public at large were another trigger and reason for her demise. The tragic death of Sulli was related to cyberbullying-induced distress.
It was revealed after she unexpectedly died that Sulli had always requested SM Entertainment to take an uncompromising stand on those who are tossing vile comments and performing acts of cyberbullying. She did all her best to avoid these adverse acts. Seven petitions have been posted on the South Korean presidential office website, demanding stricter penalties for cyberbullying.
This captured the political circle's attention to move on, and they debated different ways of stopping this unfortunate occurrence from occurring again.
Representative Park Dae-Chool [ko] of the Liberty Korea Party announced that he is writing down a legislative initiative to introduce new legislation by implementing an Internet real-name process to enhance the accountability for remarks. Then a law was designed under the suggested title "Sulli Act."
