MBC’s “The King of Mask Singer” episode on September 27 continued the challenge for the throne.
The previous episode of “The King Of The Mask Singer” followed the contestants as they battled to go against the current king and break her streak. A battle between Mountain Bike and Siren was featured in the second round. Motorcycle then performed a sweet and fresh rendition of Sung Si Kyung’s “We Make a Good Pair.” Simultaneously, Siren wowed everyone with her emotional expressions while performing Han Young Ae’s “Lucille.”
Siren then took a win of 82 votes, in the end, to move on to the next round. She said that she would work hard till the end and show a generous side of herself. After Motorcycle was asked to remove his mask, everyone was surprised to see iKON’s Jinhwan.
In the recent release of the show, between Fireworks and Jade Bead was the first matchup of Round 2. Fireworks moved the panelists with his calm but delicate vocals as he chose to sing Im Chang Jung’s “You’re Here Too.” The Classic’s “Lady in the Rainy Night” was sung by Jade Bead, captivating the panel with her clear and bright tone.
The panel voted for Fireworks in the end, and Jade Bead reveals herself as LOONA’s HyunJin as she took off her mask.
HyunJin shared that she had come on the show to make Kim Gura into a fan. She revealed that she worried a lot before she went on this show. Saying that she was afraid that Kim Gura would blister her. “I wanted to receive a compliment from him.”
Moreover, HyunJin wrote on Twitter, “Hello, Orbit. It’s the voice behind ‘Jade Bead,’ HyunJin. I was curious to see whether Orbits would recognize my voice!” She continued on her post that she will work even harder to showcase good vocals in the future and that she was delighted to sing on ‘The King of Mask Singer.’ “It’s a sense of accomplishment I won’t forget. Orbit, I love you!”
