“Do You Like Brahms?” writer Ryu Bo Ri shares the love story between the characters of Kim Min Jae and Park Eun Bin.
The ongoing drama tells the story of classical music students chasing love and dreams. Park Eun Bin as Chae Song Ah, a violin major in her fourth year and seven years older than her fellow students. Kim Min Jae as Park Joong Young, the pianist who won in multiple international competitions.
Park Eun Bin and Kim Min Jae’s character grows closer and slowly discovering each other’s hidden pain. Chae Song Ah and Park Joon Young begin to comfort one another, and eventually, both began fell in love.
As their relationship grew more in-depth, the viewers’ curiosity began mounting when Park Joon Young fell for Chae Song Ah. Writer Ryu Bo Ri stated that rather than saying when did Park Joon Young fell for her at a particular moment, Ryu Bo Ri wanted Chae Song Ah to leave a deep impression on Park Joon Young in their first meeting.
In the first episode, the first meeting of Chae Song Ah and Park Joon Young is they are in orchestra rehearsals. Chae Song Ah was unable to perform on stage, and despite the conductor’s offensive remarks, she asked Park Joon Young why she can not perform.
Ryu Bo Ri thought that this would leave a deep impression on both of them. Chae Song Ah is the complete opposite of Park Joon Young. She may lack talent, but she wants to go on stage for the love of music.
Later that night, Park Joon Young is driving with Young In and sees Chae Song Ah running in the rain. She used her clothes to protect her instrument from getting wet.
Park Joon Young saw how Chae Song Ah cherished her instrument over herself. It showed what kind of person Chae Song Ah.
In all of the meetings, Chae Song Ah left impressions on Park Joong Young, making it difficult to point out one moment where he fell in love with Chae Song Ah.
