An Enjoyable Story Of Searching

The upcoming film is a comedy-drama about a college student named To Il (played by Krystal). She got pregnant due to her passionate romance with a younger guy. She then heads out on a search to find her birth father when she’s five months along in her pregnancy, whom she hasn’t heard from in 15 years. And also the soon-to-be father who left home.

Taking the role of To Il’s mother is the Parasite star Jang Hye Jin while playing her stepfather is Choi Duk Moon. Shin Jae Hwi and Kang Mal Geum are also starring in the drama.

The Determined To Il To Find Her Father

In the new poster, Krystal looks determined on her hunt. Along with her search-ready image, a text reads, On a long journey to find ‘father.' Hints in the poster include 1. Daegu resident, 2. Family name Choi, and 3. Technology and home economics teacher.

To Il's Sequence Of Misfortune

The comedy of the drama's retro vibe is revealed in a teaser video for the film, including Krystal’s character experiencing misfortune after misfortune on her quest. She then first sits down with her boyfriend, Ho Hoon (played by Shin Jae Hwi), in front of her parents to share the news. While To Il coolly taking off her baggy sweater to show them that she’s pregnant.

She tells them nonchalantly, I’m already five months along, and her stepfather hangs his head. The nervous Ho Hoon then explains that they’d been worried that they would tell them not to keep the baby, and he apologizes with a deep bow.

Moreover, her mother then asks her, Do you really need to be this extreme? She demanded to know what To Il is going to do about school, graduation, and work. And after, her daughter presents to them calmly with a five-year plan that includes balancing marriage and school.

A narration then says that she knew she would cause an accident at some point, but the event is unusual. Il also asked if she really has to find her birth father in another scene. She says, "You wouldn’t understand; you’ve only experienced life in a normal home."

Her mother and stepfather ask her at the end of the clip, "Why are you like this? To Il then replies with a yell, I don’t know either!"
