Apink's Son Naeun has talked about her new variety show in an interview in JTBC title Sentimental Camping (LT)!
The new reality show has just wrapped up filming with So Naeun for the first two episodes. The said episodes would be featuring an all-female cast going camping in unique places all over Korea. The actress, Son Naeun, will be starring in the program with stars Park Na Rae, Ahn Young Mi, MAMAMOO's Solar, and her friend and former Cinderella and Four Knights co-star Park So Dam.
Son Naeun's Encountered Challenges
During an interview, Son Naeun remarked that Sentimental Camping is a new challenge for her. The actress expressed that she'd wanted to travel, but she'd felt a bit cooped up because of the pandemic. The show is time to try new things that she hasn't tried before and take on new challenges.
Regarding why Son Naeun joined the program, she revealed that she wanted to develop more self-reliance and become a bit tougher.
Working With Other Cast
Son Nauen also shared about the cast members that she wanted to get to know more. Son Naeun said that she wants to become closer with Ahn Young Mi, who appears to have many similarities with her. With regarding her close friend Park So Dam, she shared that since then, she always depended on So Dam, and with this new camping show, she wanted to take care of her.
Furthermore, the variety show star also talked about reuniting with her Dinner Mate co-star Song Seung Heon, who will appear as the show's first guest. There, she also shared what it's like filming with him.
Son Naeun revealed that she was worried at first about Song Seung Heon going camping with five women. But his appearance in the filming and the entire camping turned out fun and relaxed, which made her surprised.
She added that the actor, while filming dramas, always jokes around on the set, and it is a surprise for her that he showed his candid side during Sentimental Camping.
What To Look Forward In The Drama
Moreover, Son Naeun revealed what viewers could look forward to in the upcoming program. She said that Sentimental Camping introduces viewers to the hidden tourist spots within Korea. "I hope that through 'Sentimental Camping,' viewers will be able to enjoy the experience of vicarious travel and find some healing, no matter how brief."
