In the height of BTS’s success today, there are also repercussions in glory, and Jungkook has shared that the thought of disbanding that troubled him.
In Episode six of “Break The Silence,” Jungkook admitted that thinking about BTS disbanding gives him much anxiety and gives him an enormous amount of worries for him. The “Golden Maknae” stated, “What if BTS would suddenly disband? What could I do by myself? When I thought about it, I realized I have nothing. There is not much I can do.”
Jungkook added that when he thinks about disbanding, he worries a lot. “Sometimes when I’m alone, there are times when I feel overwhelming fear wash over me,” the BTS member stated.
Besides that, BTS has revealed on 2018 MAMAs that they have thought about disbanding due to members being stress in their debut as an artist and not having a successful career. However, the boys have turned the situation around and are among the most sought out K-pop groups in their generation.
In other related news, Jungkook’s single, “My Time” is now the second longest-charting solo song by a K-pop idol after spending at the Billboard World Digital Song Sales in 33 weeks, tying BTS Jimin’s “Filter.”
“My Time” also has the highest entry on Billboard Hot 100 among all BTS solo songs, the fastest BTS solo song to sell 100K units in the U.S. and the first one to chart at #1 on Billboard World Digital Song Sales.
Besides that, Jungkook’s “My Time” sets the record as the longest-charting BTS solo song on Worldwide iTunes Song Chart with the song charting at #130, spending its 99th day on the chart.
Jungkook’s single is the second song the BTS member reached this feat after “Euphoria,” spending 36 weeks on the Billboard World Digital Song Sales and selling over four million copies worldwide.
