The Boyz are appointed as Goodwill Ambassadors for NGO Save The Children, proving that K-pop idols are a good example to the mass media.
On November 3, K-pop idols, The Boyz, were officially selected to represent and named the public relations ambassadors for season 14 of Save The Children with their newest campaign, “Newborn Baby Life Saver.” This campaign’s mission is to save newborns and mothers from diseases that can be prevented within the four weeks of the baby’s life.
“The Boyz is selected as the promotional ambassadors for Save The Children’s campaign season 14, and will participate in various scheduled activities,” said the NGO.
The boy group will also be sponsoring the project by filming various promotional materials to raise awareness and taking the slogan “Protect Newborn Babies” to protect newborns during the 24-hour time following the birth.
Besides that, The Boyz will also deliver hats that they made to newborn babies. The group expressed their excitement over on their social media page, where they stated that they are honored to be selected to join in a meaningful campaign for newborn babies and mothers.
They continued that today may be a difficult time, but the group will lead the way to share warm hearts.
Meanwhile, The Boyz are currently promoting their fifth EP titled “Chase” with the titled track, “The Stealer.” Their newest single makes waves as the group bag the M Countdown award with a total score of 5,432.
In other related news, The Boyz performed at the Korean Music Drive-In Festival 2020, where 24 K-pop artists participated in the said event. The group had a chance to showcase their newest single, “The Stealer,” along with “Whiplash.”
