Jay Park revealed his plans in the music scene after his retirement.
The male idol recently filmed for MBC’s entertainment talk show ‘Radio Star.' A video was uploaded on MBC Entertainment’s official YouTube channel for its episode’s preview.
In the talk show, Jay Park shared that he is planning on retiring after two years, as expected from him since he has been part of the K-Pop industry since 2008.
The idol mentioned the difficulties and hardships behind keeping his career and running an entertainment company. He revealed that he would like to train and form an idol group based on his experiences and accomplishments as a group member and a solo hip-hop artist.
Jay Park also mentioned his retirement in the music scene a lot of times in various talk shows, and it is the first time he noted in detail what he wanted to do after he leaves the music scene.
He even posted a clip of a track titled Encore with a caption saying, “This word truly foreshadows retirement. It means that one can leave without regret because they did their best.”
In a particular talk, the artist Jay Park shows that he sometimes wonders how long he needs to try not to lose the spotlight to others. The reason for doing it is because of the thought of sharing some of the light with other artists, and the work is fun. He likes things that someone’s life can change because of him, the light he shared with them.
Jay Park joined the K-Pop industry in 2008 when he debuted as JYP Entertainment’s boy group 2PM member. Aside from participating in group activities, he is also a regular cast member in various variety shows.
A year after his debut, he unveiled that he decided to depart from the boy group and the company due to the controversy about him saying hate comments found in his personal Myspace account towards Korea.
