Woollim Entertainment's newest K-pop all-boy group DRIPPIN impresses the music industry with the massive demand for its debut album amid the pandemic, Korea Times reported.
DRIPPIN's early Boyager success
Counting a week after the debut of DRIPPIN, alongside its debut album entitled Boyager, the boy group earned the exceeding love and support from its beloved fans.
Having that said, Boyager recorded a whopping 30,756 sales on its first week, based on the data that dates October 28 to November 2. The figure was released by the South Korean music sales website Hanteo Chart, according to Hellokpop.
The rookie group's impressive feat showcases its emerging fame in the global music scene as the group strives to covet a spot in the industry. Additionally, the milestone of DRIPPIN proves its dominance among other K-pop boy group, considering it only took them seven days since its debut to come up with the massive figure.
DRIPPING making a name with Boyager
On top of the K-pop group's mentioned feat, Boyager also made its way to the top ten list of iTunes Album Charts in eleven countries. It includes the Philippines, Indonesia, Vietnam, Hong Kong, and Mexico. It finishes at the number one spot in Poland, Qatar, and Thailand in the same music chart.
On the other hand, the album's title track called Nostalgia rakes over ten million views on Youtube for its music video. The group bagged the soaring view count after five days of its release.
Furthermore, fans couldn't help but notice the resemblance of the music video's theme to The Little Prince. As it gains attention from its viewers and fans, the music video hails an enticing concept of each band member in expressing its fascinating visuals and talents.
