DAVICHI's Kang Ming Kyung apologizes for the mistakes she committed regarding product placements.
Kang Min Kyung- the one half of the duo DAVICHI, was recently on the hot seat as she was reportedly flaunting products on her YouTube account without mentioning that they were ads.
According to Koreaboo, the singer-vlogger introduced expensive products on her YouTube channel as if she paid for her daily use even if she was paid 15-20 million won (approximately $12,500-$16,700) each brand for her marketing services.
On July 17, Kang Min Kyung posted a formal apology statement regarding the recent controversy.
The singer opened her explanation by saying that she posted a statement in response to the recent controversy circulating online about her YouTube channel on her Instagram account.
She mentioned that her YouTube channel has already been running for two years, and just as she did in the beginning, she film, edit, and share her vlogs.
She expressed that her channel's increasing popularity made her more excited about managing her accounts, mainly when many advertisements tapped to be featured on her YouTube channel.
As a result, she forgot to consider her subscribers' perspective, who cherished her channel. And after reading the comments of those who felt uncomfortable, she realized the aspects that she failed of thinking.
Kang Min Kyung concluded her post by expressing her most sincere apology to those who felt uncomfortable with her actions. With the latest controversy of Kang Min Kyung, Superstylist Jan Hye Yeon apologized regarding the same issue with product placements.

On the video she released on "Super Star Stylist TV" (Han Hye Yeon's YouTube Channel), she bowed her head in apology for causing disappointment to her subscribers. Han Hye Yeon also emphasized that she will be mindful and keep an eye on her channel so that she will not create frustrations again.
