MAMAMOO’ Moonbyul takes the microphone to start hosting the radio show- Avengirls!
The main rapper of MAMAMOO joined the gang of hosts for “Avengirls,” including GFRIEND’s Umji, Oh My Girl’s Hyojoung, WJSN’s Dayoung, and APRIL’s Naeun. Moonbyul took the spot of Lovelyz’s Jiae, who had her final show last week.
Per Soompi, Moonbyul expressed her thoughts on becoming a host for the first time, on her first stint, she said that she doesn’t know why she’s nervous. She also shared that everyone is cheering her up a lot that made her feel comfortable somehow. Half-worried and half-excited are the words she described what she felt.
The rapper continued that her Tuesdays used to be just a typical day of the week, and as she stepped towards another journey, Tuesdays have become extraordinary. She felt that being on the show is a dream-come-true and that she’s happy to join “Avengirls.”
Moonbyul also admitted that she is concerned with her pronunciation and her chemistry with the listeners since she will be talking to them. Due to this, she practices her pronunciation to fit the position because she is afraid to commit mistakes when pronouncing words.
The singer-rapper revealed that she wants to invite Red Velvet’s Seulgi on the show. She said that Seulgi is her happiness, and she’s always lucky when she is with her. She recalled when she released her first solo album, which featured Seulgi, and how she got good energy from the idol. She wants to gain the same strength again; that is why she wants Seulgi to be on the show.
Later on the show, MAMAMOO’s Solar congratulated her friend on becoming the new host. She said that Moonbyul helps out well, gives a lot of advice, and takes good care of others.
Moreover, B1A4’s Sandeul showed her friendship to the new host and said that she would head over whenever Moonbyul invites her. Hyojoung expressed that its good to hear Moonbyul’s big laughter on the show and noted that she would join the host as a guest in the future while April’s Naeun expressed that it is fun seeing Moonbyul’s honest side.
