Rumors have been spreading earlier about the head of a Kpop label in his forties who went under police investigation for illegally filming women.

As the news continues to create speculations, Allkpop reported that Sports World News vehemently claimed that the singer-songwriter tagged as 'anonymous' is Hwang Kyung Suk, also known as "The Film."

Per Soompi, the Seoul Gwangjin Police reported that "The Film" was suspected of stealing videos of multiple women's bodies using hidden cameras until early this year. The accusation also involves having intercourse with several women, including his fans.

Bae Geun Jo, the lawyer who brought forth the accusations, noted that "The Film" admitted the charges of illegal filming. However, he currently denies the allegations that he distributes the illegally-taken videos.

The lawyer continued that "The Film" claims that his cloud storage account was hacked after uploading the videos.

"The film" deleted his account from a portal website after the police investigation began. He erased his pictures and other online records to hide his information, per Soompi.

Moreover, the accused tried to settle the issue in June, but the authorities refused the settlement. Bae Geun Jo stated that "The Film's" punishment depends on the charges brought forth by the prosecution. The lawyer noted that in the case of a summary indictment, the accused would be charged with a fine. But, he will face imprisonment if the case goes to trial.

Meanwhile, "The Film" confessed during a phone call with reporters from SBS funE a few months ago and said that he regrets the actions he made. The beginning of the year was a self-reflection, he said, and part of it, he started a family and also made some donations.

Hwang Kyung Suk (The Film) is a singer-songwriter involved in many projects in the music industry. He made his debut in 2004 and has around 120 songs under his belt as a singer-songwriter. He was praised by his originally-written songs "As It Were" at the Yoo Jae Ha's Music Festival.
